Day 1
Day 1: Arrival in Chiang Mai – Old City & Night Bazaar | Arrive at Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX). Transfer to your boutique Lanna-style hotel. In the afternoon, explore the moated Old City, including Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh. Spend your evening sampling khao soi noodle soup at the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. Overnight stay in Chiang Mai.
Day 2
Day 2: Doi Suthep Mountain & Ethical Elephant Sanctuary | After breakfast, drive up Doi Suthep mountain to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep with its 306-step Naga staircase. In the afternoon, visit an ethical elephant sanctuary to learn about elephant rehabilitation, prepare natural herbal food supplements, and bathe alongside rescued elephants in the river. Return to Chiang Mai. Overnight stay in Chiang Mai.
Day 3
Day 3: Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai (White Temple & Blue Temple) | Breakfast at hotel, followed by checkout. Drive north through the mountain passes toward Chiang Rai (approx. 3.5 hours). Stop at the Mae Kachan natural hot springs. Arrive in Chiang Rai to tour Chalermchai Kositpipat’s White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), followed by the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) and Baan Dam (Black House museum). Check in to your hotel. Day 4
Day 4: Golden Triangle Viewpoint – Return to Chiang Mai | Breakfast at hotel. Drive to the historic Golden Triangle at Sop Ruak, where the Ruak and Mekong rivers divide Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos. Visit the Hall of Opium museum for regional historical context. Drive back to Chiang Mai in the late afternoon. Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Chiang Mai.
Day 5
Day 5: Departure from Chiang Mai | Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Spend free time picking up teakwood carvings, celadon ceramics, and organic hill-tribe tea before your scheduled private airport transfer to Chiang Mai Airport.
