Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Dal Lake Houseboat Stay
Arrive at Sheikh Ul-Alam International Airport (SXR) in Srinagar. Meet your representative and transfer to your luxury moored Houseboat on Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake. In the late afternoon, enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride across the tranquil waters, observing local floating markets and sunset reflections. Savor authentic Wazwan or vegetarian dinner on board. Overnight stay on Houseboat.
Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg Day Trip
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg ("Meadow of Flowers"), winding through pine forests and apple orchards (approx. 2 hours). Board the famous Gulmarg Gondola (Asia's highest cable car) up to Phase 1 (Kongdoori) or Phase 2 (Apharwat Peak) to touch the snowline. Enjoy snow activities, pony rides, or hot Kashmiri kahwa. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar to Pahalgam – The Valley of Shepherds
Breakfast at hotel, followed by checkout and a scenic drive to Pahalgam (approx. 3 hours). En route, pass saffron fields at Pampore and willow bat factories at Avantipura ruins. Check in to your resort by the Lidder River. Spend your evening taking a peaceful walk along the riverside or visiting the local market. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 4: Pahalgam Local Sightseeing – Srinagar Return
Enjoy breakfast, then hire local union union-cabs or ponies to visit scenic Betaab Valley (named after the Bollywood hit), Chandanwari (starting point of Amarnath Yatra), and the pine meadows of Aru Valley. In the late afternoon, drive back to Srinagar and check in to your Srinagar hotel. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5: Srinagar Mughal Gardens & Shankaracharya Temple
Following breakfast, embark on a cultural city tour. Visit Shankaracharya Hill Temple for panoramic views of Srinagar city. Later, explore the Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Finish your afternoon shopping for authentic Pashmina shawls, saffron, dry fruits, and walnut wood crafts. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 6: Departure from Srinagar
Breakfast at hotel. Complete checkout and take your scheduled private transfer to Srinagar Airport for your flight back home, carrying unforgettable memories of Kashmir.
